I don't know enough to be sure whether to be worried, but knowing there is a risk, may not want to fly Saturday.

If Spark takes off to parts unknown... well, I guess you're warned.

And 6 April has finally arrived. I had this date marked on my calendar too as a note of caution but then I saw another thread in the DJI official forum where one of the admins clarified that DJI drones won't be affected by this change. That along with the official DJI statement shared by msinger above is ample assurance for the Spark pilots. So I am off flying. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom here and hopefully I will be able to get some good shots. Join me anyone?
