I think the only danger in flying over water is if you fly too low and the ground sensor gets confused because it may not sense the water surface. Flying at altitudes, like in the video, shouldn't be an issue.

thank you i've had my drones lower than this over the waters before, i think it depends on your drone, waters, lights and conditions. if you having doubts then you shouldn't do it.
