I have some situations where I prefer to use a mobile phone as my spark controller. The problem is range is extremely limited. I've tried both 2.4 and 5.8 ghz (2.4 is supposed to improve range). I've tried both a samsung s7 and s4 to rule out defective antennae. No matter what I tried, I always get weak signal warnings at about 25 feet (no obstructions). I've even tried it in a remote location with little/no competing wifi, similar result. My question is what is the real world experience with range when using mobile phone as controller? I recognize reality will never be the same as theoretical max (which I think is 100 meters), but 25 feet is less than 10% of that... Has anyone had a different experience? Thanks Chris
