Spring brings muscle cars out of hibernation.

A buddy of mine has a 69 Camaro tucked away in his garage that is street legal and he use to race back in the day at the 1/4 mile strip on the weekends.

"You run what ya brung" was the motto. ?



We would drive to the track, put the the slicks on when we got there, and take them off them off for the ride home. Lots of room in the trunk of an old American muscle car.

But the family life put it on hold for now, and the car is tucked away, safe and sound in storage ready to ROAR again someday.
