Hi Raylee, having just spent the past week on Labuan flying to the mixed amusement of the locals as well as a couple short flights in KL I think you’re going to have a lot of fun!
I think in Malaysia people are more fascinated and excited by the technology than they are dismissive and “against” it. The rules are reasonably strict but they’re clear and I found half the time security people were more curious than concerned.
