I was using the tracking feature of my spark this morning to track my son in law mowing their yard. I tried to swing the drone around to capture a side view. As it swung around I didn't take into account the latency of the controller setup and crashed it into a tree. Recovering sparky I noticed the lens on one of the aft motors was missing. At first I thought that was the limit of the damage. I even set sparky down had it take off not thinking there was any more damage. Fortunately the battery was very low and I immediately landed and went back inside the house to recharge. When I put the drone in my portable charging station I noticed that it didn't fit well. I picked it back up and noticed the aft left arm was cracked (medical term would be green stick fracture). I have the replacement policy, but I would like to save that for a more major event. Any experience in gluing the arm? What kind of glue did you use? Did it work? 2nd question, are the motor covers readily avail? If so best source? TIA Cowdoc
