Return to home in P mode

If I am flying out at about 200 feet altitude and approximately 900 feet from my home point, if I switch from sport mode to P mode, to gain smoother cider ? and then the switch back to sport mode, will I still be able to return to home as normal? Thanks

Of course you can fly as normal, switching between modes, and you can also initiate the RTH function.

Yes... it overrides whatever mode you are in.

I have found that if you switch modes during return to home the RTH shuts down and you have to re initiate it.

True....Switching from one mode to the other is sort of a failsafe... use it if you want to stop whatever the bird is doing, IE return to home... take it out of trip-pod mode etc...
