So my little red flyer has been up for 18 flights now, and I've noticed some dust and muck building up. The manual says "Keep sensors clean at all tmes" but it does not specifically say how.....

I've searched/read here that a lens pen does the trick, personally I have never liked them as they can put a fair amount of pressure on one point when being used, I don't want scratches of course.

Any great hints on what to to use? Any particular cleaner? Microfiber cloth? Etc....

(work related image pruned!) LOL

Is the dust internal or at the front element? If it's the latter I suggest cleaning it gently with the pen if it's the former I don't have much knowledge on that part.

oing to source a pen. How long do they last? I know I have one at home for our Canon... forgot it was there... I would assume that at some point the pen is going to rub dirt back onto the lens.

I'm not sure about the longevity of pens but they do actually work pretty well. I suggest you get a cleaning kit consisting of: microcloth for a quick cleaning when you're in the field, air blower to blow away the dust and a lens pen for removing the grease.
