Spark rocks on stopping

Hi all.
Have had my spark for some months and have only just noticed that when I stop by centering the stick it rocks backward and forward on the spot 2 or 3 times.. I can only avoid this by pulling back the stick very slowly
Any comments please

Yes - allow the stick to return to centre slowly!
