Video file size

New Spark user here and I have a question about the file size of videos. I shot my first footage the other day and a 5 minute clip used up almost 1 Gb of storage. Isn't that a lot for 1080p video? Would any of the image settings impact the file size?

No, its normal filesize for the Spark.
24 Mb/s max video bitrate.
Edit and/or compress in desktop application or app on your device..

Copy your videos to a computer from the microSD card and use a computer based editor. Much easier.
