Funny I was also capturing the same subset at the same time yesterday but probably around 75km away from you in Markham! The grounds are still so brown. Hopefully there will be some green soon but that will mean you won’t be able to fly out of your yard! Nice area! Must be nice to be so close...

You are right! Was taken at a park parking lot so no one was there in this cold weather.

Few pictures from today's very cold flight. My iPhone managed to shut off because of the cold at the end but luckily soon after the spark landed. The spark did great in the -11 degrees C weather and 40kph gusts (-18 C with windchill) with battery temperature at 33 degrees C after the flight.

Here is another picture is taken over Bond Lake (which is now frozen and snow covered) at Richmond Hill. The background is Yonge Street and further away is a newer subdivision. In the foreground, there was an electrical generating station which powers the electric railway Metropolitan line...

Lake was frozen enough for people to be playing shinny this morning.

Thanks. The flight itself was around 8 mins but my hands was so frozen at the end. The temperature was -5 degrees C and wind was gusting to around 35 kph. Here’s a screen record of the flight.
