Wifi issue, landed on its own

But there was no loss of connection (see #16), so this is not relevant to the discussion.

trying a little distance run with a spark.

There are FAA inspectors in this and many other groups. I suspect they will already have noted this flight. Not sure why it's shared here since it was done on a Mavic Air apparently.

    Hello from the GTA.

Drone site selection tool | National Research Council Canada is the official tool for identifying airspace in Canada.

    Hello everyone! need help here!

So the regs in Italy are direct line of sight and Drones being flown for recreational purposes may not fly more than 70 meters (230 feet) above the ground, and drones being flown for commercial purposes may not fly more than 150 meters (492 feet) above the ground.

What did the FAA say about it? Whether DJI accepts it or not is really irrelevant (other than to remove the flight restriction). Afaik, your flight would have needed to be within the NOTAM specifics approved by the FAA.

Wifi issue, landed on its own

Flying over water or any surface that is uniform and lacks features is known to confuse the bottom sensors. Make sure that RTH or not set to land on loss of connection rather than hover or return (not that that is relevant here as it didn't lose contact). Then make sure you know what you're...

    Cover removal - Help!

I would very much doubt it. You opened it up and stripped the threads putting it back together. To me that sounds like a warranty breach and DJI are bound to look for any reason not to replace an aircraft.

Spark Boosted Antenna Mods (my testing and results)

I suspect you don’t see much on this forum about this topic because it would lead to a void warranty and illegal flight. I just don’t get his insistence on flying as far as one can - just because one can doesn’t mean one should. It’s actually far more fun to fly where you can see the aircraft imho.

Although if you still have the wifi connection with the RC, losing GPS doesn't mean the aircraft is uncontrollable - though you have to be competent at flying in ATTI mode.

    How hard is the test??

The Advanced is substantially more difficult, not least because of the question:time ratio, so one really does need to know one’s stuff and not have to look much of it up on the fly. I have no problem with the requirement however, because an Advanced Ops certified pilot can fly almost anywhere...

    Flight record sharing

It’s a shame that you won’t allow public access to the log. This forum is designed to be an educational resource, so that we can learn from each other’s mistakes.
