Any Citation for that claim about filming trains? There are dozens of YouTube channels that are 100% videos of moving trains.

I’m always amazed at the quality of the video from the Spark. Excellent video in every respect.

Just an amateur, but I have been taking photos for 50+ years. I took lots of frames to get this shot.

I did not receive any cash. Having The land preserved was payment enough.

A conservation organization recently purchased land in the canyon immediately north of my house in Bluff, Utah, making it available to the public forever. I was asked to take a drone shot that shows the beauty of the canyon and this is what I came up with. Not too bad for a six year old Spark.

Never take off from a metal (ferrous) platform such as a car or a bridge. It will interfere with the compass calibration. Just set it on the ground or other firm surface.

We had a nice storm that dropped a lot of water in Bluff, UT. I knew the potholes would be full of water so I headed out with my Spark drone to see what I could find. I’m still amazed at what this little drone can do.

It has been way too long since I have flown my trusty Spark, so I took it out last week to film a canyon near my house in Bluff, UT. The canyon contains a natural spring that forms a pond, as well as numerous ancient Indian ruins. The trees were just budding, so I shot some of them also.

I flew the Spark for the first time in many months recently. Notice how smooth the yaw pans are. In part due to my skill, but I also used the image stabilization tool in my video editor (LumaFusion on an iPad Pro). It seems to help quite a bit. Enjoy.

We all pull a bone-headed move every once in a while. Laugh it off and move on.
