    18500 batteries?

Sure your batteries are Li po not li ion? The advantage of lipo over lion was weight and ouput vs lion.

Update - the riddle is solved: it had NOT been strange electromagnetic interferences that made my SPARK uncontrollable!

Try other areas with power lines and see if the same issue. there is difference in line voltage from American to European systems, and wonder if that is why US flyers dont seem to have the same problem

    Battery Bulging Due to Heat?

My experiencing with those type of batteries is the discharge curve is much steeper than a healthy battery. It may quickly go from 80% to 30% rapidly. Good luck.

    Battery Bulging Due to Heat?

They usually begin loosing capacity as well. Flying in hot weather is hard on batteries, adding to the heat they generate while discharging. I recently flew a long flight at 30 mph in my phantom and the battery came out at around 140deg F, the max temp for a lipo. This was spring weather in the...

    Selling Drone-FAA registration transfer

That would be for part 107 users who have to register each individual drone/UAV. The question appears to be out of context.

    Selling Drone-FAA registration transfer

Your not registering the drone, your registering the pilot. New owner just registers himself on FAA site, and puts his own FAA # on Spark.

New to Litchi - I lost my drone :(

I've traveled 1200 miles from original calibration point whiteout having to re calibrate. Its well documented in these forums to only calibrate when told to . If compass error is shown in the app, move the drone and try another spot several. Then re calibrate if you still have the error.

New to Litchi - I lost my drone :(

According to the FAA UAS Data Map you are in a Class C no fly zone unless you have LAANC permission to do so. Your awfully close to the no fly part of the C airspace(0 altitude) and as these are not rock hard zones, this may have been what happened to you. These restrictions have just been...

If compass was an issue, a compass error should have shown up i the log file. Never do a compass recal unless advised to do so by software.

Same log file. I've flown many waypoint missions, and they all have a gap once drone is out of telemetry range and restarts in the same file when they come back into telemetry range.

Also, a lot depends on what your settings were in Litchi and if smart return was on and what our critical battery settings were. that info would make a difference as well.

IF the tabel frame is steel , then yes that could create compass issues. Most frames are aluminum to lighten table weight. Alumininm does not affect compass. I've launched many time form al docks and boats without problems.

New to Litchi - I lost my drone :(

A log file is created on the mobile device in Litchi folder with data for as long as the bird is still receiving data. For longer auto flights there will be a gap once out of data range until the bird returns into data range.

I'm amazed no has mentioned his take off battery was 26%. A clear recipe for disaster.
