My seat of the pants results: DJI better video quality but less range, Litchi has aorzey quality from the start but more range.

I reached out to Litchi and they passed the blame on to DJI.

I need to look into something like that. I use Moto mods and found that it disables OTG when charging from the battery pack.

To me it is a night and day difference in connection stability. I won't fly freehand without it. If I'm using waypoints on Litchi OTG is disabled so it doesn't matter either way.

I've been working on some longer autonomous flights too. Do you get anxiety about having it out of site and contact for so long?

This is my first flight with waypoints. You can see that my camera does look down at different points. I think that since the spark only has a 2 axis gimble that the POI has to be along the flight path and not side to side.

When I was in BFE Kansas I had incredible range, 2.0k was doable. It's amazing how far you can fly when there is zero interference. Now that I am back in the mountains I'm lucky to get 600 meters.

Flew it via WIFi moments ago and it worked flawlessly other than the connection is super unstable compared to OTG.

I just shot an email to the developer. I will post back when they reply.

OTG worked just fine other than the altitude problem I am having. Follow normal procedure of boot AC and RC, wait for the pair then plug in phone to RC. Phone prompts to choose either DJI or Lichti.

I will reach out to Lichti and see what they have to say. I know Spark support is new and there will be issues. Everything else works fine. Waypoint missions are awesome. I hope to get out tonight and try the other features in more open areas.

Everything works inside the DJI GO 4 app.
