If you update both the Goggles and Spark, the Record button will start working and the gimbal head tracking will tilt the camera up and down. :)

I do like I always have in the past, connected the Goggles to the Spark controller via a usb cable. There is a new update for the Goggles today.

Not sure why you are having some many issues. I can control the up and down movement of the camera on the Spark with my Goggles. I can start and stop the recordings from inside the Goggles or using the left button on the Remote Controller. This is all after updating the Goggles today :)

Not yet :) Not sure what they did for the Goggles, I was able to use them before the update in place of the phone and they worked just fine. I'm assuming you still connect them via the usb port.

So, how does the spark connect to the goggles? Do you use the usb connection on the bottom of the controller? If so, that seems to disable the CrystalSky Wi-Fi connection. I can connect the goggles via the CS using the HDMI ports. I also can connect the goggles to the Spark RC via the usb port...

If money is no object, purchase a CrystalSky 7.85 and you won't need a sunscreen :)

I suspect it's a 'Use at your own risk' choice. My CrystalSky works great without the cable so that's what I'm going to use.

Looks like the OTG cable still works with the upgrades.

Did your version for the RC jump from 100 to 300, or did I just miss 200 :)

The top photo shows how to store the prop guards. It's a tight fit but you could trip some of the foam to make the slot larger. There's enough room below the lid foam so you can close the lid without any issues.

By law in the US, the pilot must have line of sight of the drone. My plan is to use the goggles where there is no possible danger to others or property and for an observer to use while the pilot uses his phone or CrystalSky device.
