I wondered the same about availability of Sparks. I still have "refresh" on it as it was replaced under warranty. No battery in it just replacement drone. Probably the same if I used refresh. They must still have them for refresh replacements. The batteries from original are being cared for.

Using Samsung Tab A 8.4 and it works great. Like all it is hard to see in bright light. No problems with it at all. I use it wifi with Spark and cable with mini. I just purchased a MA2 with smart controller. B&H photo has them at $1061. Over $300 off! Can't wait!

Depends if using only spark and phone the spark is wifi, this is why range is limited. Using the controller and phone the wifi comes from controller to phone and the signal is RC from controller to Spark giving more range.
