Weekend trip to Freeport/Portland, Maine. Shot from locations in Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster Company and the Portland Head Lighthouse with a DJI Spark.
Short video shot on a DJI Spark near the Bay Ridge Pier in Brooklyn, New York with views of the Freedom Tower and the Verrazano Bridge in the distance.
You could just activate active track on a subject and then use the on screen option to rotate around it. It won't create the quick video that the quick shots do automatically, but it should just continue to circle around your subject I believe.
I think having three batteries is good if you don't have access to charge them right away. Have an extra one on order and it should fit in the fly more bag without much trouble. I usually don't keep the charging brick for the hub in the bag so I can keep a battery plugged into the Spark without...
I have two batteries with the fly more combo. I think I was able to get about 5-6 flights in. Two on the day I landed when we were at the beach during the day and the rest were from the next morning before our flight home.
Figured it out today after some testing. It controls the actual speed that the Spark flies. Set all the way to Fast, in Sport mode, I was able to get it to go 30mph but when all the way at Slow, it was only doing about 15mph if I remember correctly.
Does anyone know what this Slow and Fast setting is for?
Under the Remote Controller Settings > Stick Mode > the slider bar for Slow and Fast?
Tried searching online but haven't come up with anything so far.
I bought an OTG cable from Best Buy before to test this out and it definitely helps in the range at 2.4ghz. I did not have an option to use 5.8ghz when using the OTG cable as others have pointed out elsewhere, but I was able to fly the spark a little over 2400ft away. I think it could have...
I haven't had any issues with the 5.8ghz bands, but on 2.4ghz it is horrible. The video would be choppy and it would cut out and lose signal constantly even at less than 100ft away.
On 5.8ghz i've gotten about 1600ft away with no issues.
