This looks like a great idea. It doesn't seem to be available on Amazon yet though.

I tried that yesterday. It flew to point A and then just sat there. I tried some manual flights as well but i find it isn't very easy to see the logs after the flight. Autopilot says that you made a flight but then you have to go to one of the online sites to see the logs.

Can you start recording video using the gesture and then enable active track using the gesture as well?

Dont worry I had exactly the same thing. In all honesty DJI could have at least called their app 'DJI Assistant' rather than the more ambiguous 'Assistant'.

You might need to allow it to be installed as it will say that its from an unsigned developer. this is easily fixed though. When you install the app go into 'System Preferences' - 'Security & Privacy' and then in the bottom half you will see a message saying that DJI Assistant is from an...

Well as it stands now there is no way to update the firmware on the battery as the Spark will not turn on with this battery in it. So the DJI Go and DJI Assistant apps can't be used. Im not sure there is any way for me to upgrade the battery on its own (even if i had a cable that i could...
