So I near chopped my finger end off attempting a grab landing following some erratic behavior from Spark. Did you find any good gloves and do folks have any recommendations on safety gloves which work with touchscreens? I have seen some on Amazon, but wonder how good they are on then touchscreen.

Experienced same problem today. Brought back under my own control but Spark was very erratic. Became unstable so went for a grab landing by hand as it came in close enough..... tilted just as I grabbed it. At Emergency Care now. Those rotors are lethal

I guess they have a zero tolerance policy with respect them being present on the ship. I could understand you wanting to take it with you to capture some footage/photos ashore, but as you say.... some may have flown them without consideration. Have you contacted the company, maybe they can...

Heading to the UK later this year and wondering what tips anyone has for traveling with your drone. Read the UK guidelines for Drone use so think I have that covered, but certainly concerned about airline policies for taking it on the aircraft safely.

I think it is worth it for the times when you experience damage that grounds you, or worse loss of the aircraft. I accept it is an additional cost, but $60 is not a lot to ask as a percentage of cost. But then there is also the $49 repair fee if it is not a soft or hard fault with the drone...

Had a similar experience. Light crash which fractured the rotor arm, thankfully had purchased DJI refresh. Submitted online, shipped it and watched the progress. Having worked in operations, service and delivery I was impressed with the progress updates and the clean and simple process overall...

Sorry to hear about your crash and loss of drone. Experienced similar event recently in sport mode. Misjudged the drift and clipped a branch which resulted in only a 6ft drop into soft grass, but enough to fracture the rotor arm. Thankfully I did put out the cash for DJI Refresh. Worth every...
