Checking in as a new pilot. I bought a Spark when they first came out but never really got around to using it much. I just purchased a used one from a forum member so that I can take my granddaughters flying with me. I'm expecting delivery today and hoping for good weather this weekend.

I've been using my Galaxy S8 for flying. It seems to lose its connection, not often, but occasionally. It was suggested to me that because I have so much else on the phone that it's too busy. I'm wondering if I could use my retired S6 with most apps deleted and run it from my S8 as a wireless...
