I've been using my Galaxy S8 for flying. It seems to lose its connection, not often, but occasionally. It was suggested to me that because I have so much else on the phone that it's too busy. I'm wondering if I could use my retired S6 with most apps deleted and run it from my S8 as a wireless hotspot.
If it's not obvious I'm very new to this. I'm open to suggestion on other inexpensive options. I've spent about all I can for now on my Spark.
