What do you think about the Mini 2?

I watched flytpath review and there's hardly any difference on wind resistance between MM 1 or 2, a 3mph difference is nothing. It would be nice to have the occusync but I don't really fly the MM more than a mile. I have an MA2 to handle those situations. I think I'll hang on to my MM1.

    New MA2

Got my MA2 last month but still keeping my Mini and Spark. They’re all great flyers.

Thoughts on the DJI Osmo pocket?

128 or 256, as long as they’re U3 (made for 4K video) and not U1. I use two 64 Gig Sandisk extreme, I’d rather have a spare, just in case one gets corrupted, you don’t lose a lot of your files. Most of the time I use 4 32gig unless I’m on a trip or vacation. The only accessories I have for the...

Thoughts on the DJI Osmo pocket?

I have both and love them. I use the Action for hiking and trekking and the Pocket when doing cinematic shots where I can use the follow and tilt mode. If you get the Pocket, I suggest, get also the extender.

    first crash and wrecked spark

I always use a $4.00 battery belt. I have both old and new upgraded batteries and never had a problem of battery falling off.

Should I sell my Spark to get the Mavic Mini?

The MM is an upgrade on portability, camera, and battery life. That’s all I can see. I don’t fly a small drone 4 km away, so I don’t really consider it as an upgrade. I haven’t even flown my Spark a mile away. If I have to fly some distance, I fly my Mavic Pro.

    Spark Vs. Mavic Mini

I got theP3P, MP, the Spark and the Mini. I still won’t give up the Spark, but I’m impressed with the mini specially the wifi it’s got. I have flown the mini seven times since I got it on the 11th, except for some bugs still in the app (normal with dji’s new releases), it is a great flyer, the...

    An alternative to Mavic Mini?

It seems like a nice quad, but my worry is Xiaomi is known for just cutting off a product without any notifications. Just like what happened to Mi drones they just vanished in thin air.

    Mavic mini

I’m getting one for the reason that I don’t have to ask for a LAANC approval all the time to fly my birds, even the small Spark that I carry with me all the time. Too many airports here in California. 2.7K is good enough for me since I always do a post before I publish them in social media. I...

Aside from DJI Go4 which is a must, UAV Forecast has everything you’ll need.

POLL: Have you powered on your Spark with the gimbal lock attached?

I have an elastic strip glued to my cover at one end and the other end is glued to the props protector.

Spark 2 or Mavic Air 2 next

The Spark’s 1080p camera is pretty decent since it’s only a fun and hobby quad, but what I really want to see coming is a 3-axis gimbal. If I want a more serious video, I’ll use my Mavic Pro.
