I Just did a trail flight using iPhone 6plus. I am on all new updates IOS 11.4 & 4.2.21 using Wi-Fi no otg cable. All went well....2100ft out 210ft high....no issues.

I would recommend an ipad mini 4 or 2017 iPad 9.7" There is always one issue or another with Androids from what I've read, and experienced.

I also updated but on my 6+ iOS11.4 & 4.2.16 no issues on my end. Haven't updated my other iphone, and iPad as yet.

I hear you buddy. If you have the tools... time, patience, and most of all dealt with electronics before... shouldn't be too difficult. Lots of youtube videos out there to help.

Hey, I have both Android and IOS. I live in the Caribbean. For me I get way better results with my IPhone 6+ using Wi-Fi. There were alot of Wi-Fi signals where I flew from that day. Below is a pic of my flight record...the last flight I did with my spark on the 5.8Ghz band earlier this week.

This is what I have been using every flight. Almost no weight...fits perfect, and very strong. Got them off Amazon. I am not going to chance it either after thr YouTube videos i've seen.
