I am having this issue also, it points down and never comes back up....unlike in go4 where pressing it will make it either look forward or look down. Is this a bug or settings was done wrongly?

This sequence is exactly same as mine. It indicates power failure(PF). You could revive this by using a CP2112 board, the board itself probably cost around USD5 only. You can refer to the youtube video. I recently revived my spark through this method. I would say it needs some DIY...
