Went to Florida last year with no problems taking the spark on the flight and going back again this year. 1. Register with the FAA - Recreational Flyers & Modeler Community-Based Organizations 2. Download B4UFLY app 3. Take spare props 4. Have fun

    Public Liability Insurance

Coverdrone is another UK drone insurance company. Covers fly-always as well Not sure why their website is down, I have a policy with them which paid out with no issues but have had trouble getting hold of them recently hence other drone insured with Coverdrone

    Spark crashes on takeoff

My spark seems to do the same, but only occasionally and that seems to be if I take off using controller. If I use launch button on phone it seems to be ok..?? I now do all launches using screen launch button, then leave it hovering for about 30-45sec to stabilise before using the controller.

    Drone INSURANCE

I’m in UK and have insured through www.flyicarus.com So far I can’t fault them as my spark is undergoing repairs after hitting a tree and crashing to the ground. I have full international cover as well as public liability.

    travel with spark

Having traveled to USA and back from UK I had no issue with having spark & batteries in hand luggage. I registered my drone with the FAA as if I was questioned it would probably be better to be registered than not.
