hi all,

My question is about the cached video saved to the phone during flight. I flew a couple of times yesterday but all the cached video is saved on my phone’s memory. I bought a new 32 gig micro SD to give me more space on the phone to keep these videos but I can’t get them to save directly to the new SD. I use a Samsung S7edge. Any help on recording these videos directly to the SD is appreciated.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Tablet (GT-N5110) with SD card installed and your menu selection does not appear in the current version of DJI Go 4 (4.2.12) on my device.

Below is a shot of the menu with aircraft connected:

What device and DJI Go 4 version are you using? Certainly caching to the SD card is the best way to go.

Ok.

Steve.R's original question was saving to an SD card in Android, so now I'm wondering if that menu option is only available in an Ipad product?

Perhaps some other Android users can answer that question?

Thanks!

That was a screen shot from my Android.

That option does not appear with Apple since they don't have the option of plug in memory ( that I'm aware of ).

Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, it does not explain the variation between the menus. I've never seen the menu option you show in your pic and I've gone through three Go 4 upgrades since the first of the year. Very puzzling!

The option was there in my menu on my S7edge as described, I guess if you have an ‘i’ product without expandable memory you don’t get the option.

I have an Android Samsung tablet with expandable memory (SD card) so it should show up as an option, if that is the limiting criteria. Unfortunately, it does not show up on my tablet!

Does anyone else use a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tablet (GT-N5110) that shows the menu selection described by Spark 317?
