cannot take off...aircraft locked issue

I purchased a new/used drone. i am getting a take off failed error. also aircraft is locked error. I have other DJI Spark drones but never had this issue before. i have flown this drone before so i know it works great. It just seems that once i tried to hook the cell phone, the controller, and the drone has the error. please help

But did you update all , also the battery's to last Firmware?

Three apps worth having on your device for pre flight checks would be UAV Forcast, Windy(.com), and AirMap.

UAV Forecast will give you weather conditions for flight and has parameters that you can set such as wind speed at 200 feet.

Windy provides a flowing graphic of the wind on a map to show the direction rather than an arrow.

AirMap will show the airspace in your area with the restrictions that are in place at the time.

Most are airports but some may be NOTAMS (Notice to airman) or TFR'S (Temporary flight restrictions).

Do have forest fires or something that have a lot of aircraft activity?

AirMap will help you find a spot to fly between zones, but check local rules that might be in place like a park may have.
