Basically, the sky. But there's a few post steps to get the final result.
I stitch the image in MS Ice which produces a huge image. 14,250 x 14,250 pixels, 579MB!
In my image processing program, Corel Photo Paint, first, I resample (downsize) to 5,400 pixels to make image manageable. Then, I color grade to enhance the sky and save image.
Then I open original image and color grade to enhance the landscape, brightening overall and reducing shadows.
Then I copy both and paste into Corel Draw.
In Draw, I am able to crop out the center of the darker image creating a mask which is then placed over the brightened image.
Final result. Image is still huge and has to be further resampled down to 1,728 P (24" x 24") to post here.
This is still 1.93MB which would print well.
