Trying to remove the cover and I can only get the 2 back screws and the 2 front screws undone. For some reason the middle ones won't even fit the key.

Any suggestions on what I should do or anyone else run into the same issue??

There's some kind of plastic "pellet" in the middle
of the Allen screws for those 4. You got to remove
these pellets.

Got a thin pair of tweezers? This video shows how to remove those little rubber pellets:

Do you know doing this will void the warranty?
It could if you break something in the process and you attempt to claim a warranty repair for the item you broke.

So I did manage to take the cover off. But while putting in the new cover I stripped a couple of screws!!!

Any idea where I can get replacement ones?

Yep.

Or if the repair quote is cheap enough, pay for it and save the refresh for a major repair.

I need to figure out how to take the stripped screws out. They are stuck half way.
Got any detailed photos?

I presume you mean the screw heads are stripped (washed out) rather than the screw threads. The former is easy to remedy with new screws, the latter might involve body replacement.

I see from your photo that there's probagbly enough of the heads sticking out, you may be able to firmly grab them with needle nose pliers, duckbills or Visegrips and gingerly unscrew them. Those small screws can't take much torque when tightening. I'd caution against using any more force than can be judiciously exerted using thumb and forefinger with the screwdriver. Good luck.

This is what I'd try first. You should be able to carefully remove them with the right pair of pliers.

If you manage to get them out, make sure you're using a T6 driver when installing the new screws.

I do have DJI Care Refresh. Could just send it in correct?
I would very much doubt it. You opened it up and stripped the threads putting it back together. To me that sounds like a warranty breach and DJI are bound to look for any reason not to replace an aircraft.

first grab the remote and place it on a string dangle the remote over the drone saying hommmmmmmmmmmmmm hommmmmmmmmm and chant in some ancient language to the gods lol
