Crash.

Just been out with the drone. Had my first crash. Gutted. Flying in a big farming field. Lost sight and flow into a tree. Luckily No damage not even a mark on Sparky. Was only flying slow. No even broke a blade.
Should have 10ft higher. Lessons learnt.

I always fly above trees ... usually at least 30 meters .. I'm glad your spark has not been damaged

nice mine got hit be a box truck and all I had to do was replace all of the propellers

Yup can be a tough lesson learning to fly drones. I started years ago and I think that drone cost almost as much as the Spark but with nowhere near the capability or the safety features. I was flying it back to me and misjudged my distance from a tree and wound up hanging in up in some branches some 30' above the ground. I had to stand in the back of my pickup with a couple poles taped together to poke it down. Of course it landed in the street and broke... From that time on I always survey the area for the highest point, set my RTH accordingly if necessary and always gain altitude if I'm flying manually.

It landed in top branches little ones then fell down slowly. Fly higher in future....
