It's a smart battery. It will discharge itself automatically. It's also a lipo battery. Deep dicharge cycling is usually for nickel hydride batteries which has memory effects.

Deep discharge is bad for lion or lipo batteries. The batteries for spark are best just left alone and charged before use. Lipo batteries last the most amount of time around 55% charge. After 10 days of not being used the spark batteries will auto discharge to the best voltage per cell for extended life ?

No need for the Spark batteries.

They are "intelligent".
