Do I need dji go app on my computer for dji assistant?

Ok so trying to update my batteries, downloaded the dji assistant but its not doing anything... Do I need the app on my computer for it to work?

Ohh and I went to the app store and it tells me to get the app at the dji website, click the link and it takes me to dji and click ios and takes me to a blank page.

That's basic, but maybe check if you do the same in the DJI training video

There is nothing else than DJI assistant 2 needed to do update of the Spark and batteries.
The RC must be done using your mobile, the Go4 app and wifi connection to the RC.
With latest version of Go4 app, it is also possible to do update of the battery in the Spark, but the recommended method is through the DJI assistant 2 (Spark and battery, RC not).
