Does the spark record in 2.7k?

Does anyone know if the spark record in 2.7k? The phantom 3 standard have a similar camera and DJI updated the firmware to add 2.7k. The standard was originally for 1080p only.

The best it can do is 1080p @ 30fps.

Interesting, wonder why DJI didn't add the firmware to increase it to 2.7k. Maybe the camera is more crappy than the standard?

The camera sensor captures better than 1080p but the extra data is used for digital image stabilization. It is primarily a by-product of the 2 axis gimbal -- not just a "crappy" camera as you suggested. In fact the Spark takes great video and photos.
