if you have not seen this yet some engineers developed a drone gun to 'shoot' a drone from the sky or cause it to return to base. Interesting tech and discussion where this will now be used...at Army bases among other places like stadiums.
They're not the only ones who have made guns like this. Ars technica has done a few articles on them in the past, ie this one SkyWall 100: An anti-drone bazooka
I wish all drone owners respected people's privacy but a few give all drone owners a bad name. A few weeks ago while anchored out not far from shore we were "invaded" by a Mavic hovering about 60/70' over the boat for a few minute. We were on charter and there was some eye candy on board attracting the peeping tom. There is no excuse for that. When I fly, I avoid flying over other boats and woudl never hover above them.
I finally had to point a flare gun at the drone to get the guy to move.
I've been thinking about attaching a net under an old P2 i have, in case this happens again it woudl work although would take a couple f minute to launch. Maybe use a break away weak link to release re net once the offender is jammed up
