Well thought out Peter, and I agree, I have reached a point that for my needs, I cannot see upgrading from the MA2. 4k60FPS is adequate and other than low light handling, its just fine. Getting too old to splash out the cash on the latest and greatest.... I too will consider it in a few more years, if my old body will still carry me to the places to pilot from! Then there's all the rules and regs that get harsher each year. So long range is cool, but not legal, so there's that to consider when bending the envelope... so to speak.

What a riveting piece. So well thought through and I agree with the general direction. I have only a Spark at the mo but am sorely tempted by the MA2 or even S. Will see what the MA3 has to offer. My wife said to me the other day as, unusually, she came flying with me, ”what on earth do you need a new drone for, that one is brilliant” and it shoots pretty good stuff too-quality I mean not my composition! As a “cranky old man”, not upset by that description at all, I will never need nor be competent to fly the more sophisticated models that will appear down the line and frankly my editing skills (not too shabby for an oldie) would not do the output justice. So eyes open for new kit but will not be tempted, just admiring of the developers! Safe flying to you too and let’s see what transpires. Great little showreel at the end. Have seen much of it before as you posted it I think-maybe different angles etc but that green countryside-to die for.

Cheers pal. Yeah I think it will be good to see presentations on the new stuff but as I said....unlikely to spring for anything new for a while.
