A new way to launch satellites was recently introduced. The largest drone in the world will be used to launch satellites into orbit.
Private company Aevum has created a huge drone to launch small spacecraft. The developers call it the world's largest drone. The aircraft was named Ravn X.
The company says the payload can be sent as early as 3 hours after it arrives at the launch site. Also, the company has already signed its first contract with NASA.

You all know about Ingenuity, which will soon arrive on Mars.
But back in 2019, NASA tested the X-37B. Then this drone set the record for the longest stay in space. The wording of the test objectives was rather vague. But it is clear that many space missions will now depend on drones in one way or another.
It is curious what was tested on the X-37B for 780 days.

Yep.

On 18 February 2021, NASA's Mars rover Perseverance will land on the planet.

Attached to the rover is the drone Ingenuity that may fly a couple of times within thirty days of landing.

Drones are cool and out of this world. ?

One lonely Astronaut. ?

Ha. One lonely astronaut. Why test him? I think all astronauts are lonely. If so many drones are going to fly in space, then we need a whole space tug company. Because sooner or later they will lose contact with the satellite and will fly there as space debris.

Drones are mainly used for surveillance and as well as for delivering goods. Medical and research institutions use them for medical imaging and drones are also used for getting 3-D aerial mapping. If you are thinking about to get a drone, then it is important to use drone only when you need to. Nowadays, drone technology is growing fast for many industries so every can use these drones for agriculture industry, construction industry and many more...

Welcome to the forum @cipsucilmo

Talking UAVs here, but drones are also very much used in defense for many years, and still always developing very fast there.
Defense use also includes destructive aspects as in weaponising drones, from crudely made devices through to any level using the highest technology available.

I'm curious about your comments below in quotation marks . . .

"Drones are mainly used for surveillance and as well as for delivering goods. "
What must be (arguably) the biggest UAV drone sector on the planet is hobby / recreational use . . . amateur photography, videography, or just flying drones / quads / FPV etc for fun.

"If you are thinking about to get a drone, then it is important to use drone only when you need to."
Of course commercial users will 'only use a drone when they need to", and hobbyist pilots will use their drones when they "feel like it" ?

Was there another aspect to these comments of yours that I missed ?

While drones have certainly become increasingly popular and versatile in recent years, it's important to note that they have both positive and negative aspects. Drones have a wide range of applications and can be incredibly useful in various fields such as aerial photography, filmmaking, agriculture, search and rescue operations, environmental monitoring, and even package delivery. They offer unique perspectives and capabilities that were previously difficult or costly to achieve.

However, it's essential to consider the potential drawbacks and challenges associated with drones as well. Privacy concerns, safety issues, and regulatory limitations are among the key considerations. Drones can raise privacy concerns if used irresponsibly or intrusively, as they have the capability to capture images or videos without consent. Safety is another significant aspect, as improper drone operation or technical failures can lead to accidents or damage. Additionally, drone regulations and airspace restrictions exist to ensure public safety and prevent misuse.

Therefore, while drones have many beneficial applications, it's crucial to use them responsibly and within the boundaries of the law and regulations. By doing so, we can harness their potential for positive impact while addressing the concerns and challenges they pose.
