Experience with using the Goggles with Spark? is this right?

So I flew around with my Mavic and it worked really well. Now with my spark I'm not sure if this is right?

I turn on my controller.
I turn on the Spark and wait for connection.
I then connect via WIFi to my controller with my iPad Mini 4.
I then plug in my Goggles.
I lose connection with my iPad.

Anyone know what is going on? After several times trying to regain wifi connection to my iPad mini 4. At some point I managed to stay connected with my goggles without my iPad. Flew with the goggles but I thought the iPad would also be active.

Is it one over the other or am I doing something wrong?

I think your order of set up is correct. I do think you lose connection from phone/tablet as goggles take the signal via wire.

Thanks I think that's right. You can't have both. That sucks. Then again I'm assuming it gives better connectivity? Not really sure although I see my video glitchy and there are tons of artifacts. Is that the case for people?
