I would like to make a timelapse film over the course of an hour or more.

The limit will be the number of batteries I can beg, steal or borrow, but with 4 batteries I should be able to get an hour's hover time.

Assuming reasonable weather, which would mean ~20C and low winds, is there any danger to the aircraft from being airbourne for 13 out of every 14 minutes for such a long time?

TIA

The Spark will operate fine, just keep changing those gosh darn batteries. :D

Make sure the remote and device{s} are sufficiently charged for an endurance flight.

The remote should be fine and if you have to switch devices during the flight, that works too.

I did a test of device failure during a flight with the Spark hovering in the back yard. I changed from an Android device to a mini4 without any interruptions.

The remote and the Spark stayed connected during the process of changing out the devices.

It's tough to get the Spark in the same position it was before battery swaps unless you have a good point of visual reference to line up the shot or the use of something like Litchi software to save the GPS coordinates of the spot in the sky.

Good luck with your mission. ?
