Many of you may remember the Gatlinburg TN fire happened in Nov 2015. Out side of Gatlinburg is a sleepy little town called Townsend. It not unusual for winds to get to 40+ mph because of the how the valley funnels the winds. That same night a transformer was blown over and second fire occurred. Several families lost cabins and some barley escaped with their lives literally running down the Mtn with what they had on their backs. That night our family cabin was lost to the fire. This weekend we had our first family get together to celebrate the new cabin. Still is not 100% complete but soon it will be...

Looks beautiful and a heck of spot to go to get away from the rat race of daily life.
Glad to hear everybody survived as material items may be replaced but the loss of life can not.
