According to this YouTube video the Amazon Fire 8 Tablet works with the DJI Go 4 App (dated Nov 2017).
I would expect that if he had a Fire 8 working with Phantom 4 then Spark would be fine too.
Only one way to be certain tho!

The Fire 8 HD will work with the GO 4 app and the Spark - but you have to sideload the app...and make sure you kill stuff that runs in the background.
Use an OTG cable, plus Fire 8 HD doesn’t have the brightest display so you’ll want to use a hood.
I bought one last year at Xmas and tested it, plus a variety of ‘economy’ Android-based devices. Note the Fire only has a quadcore processor.
