Ive had the spark for about 2 months.. Question: How do I know what version firmware I am on? I have not seen any updates and am wondering will it automatically update? Sorry if this question is dumb.

While your Spark is connected to DJI GO, you can find the installed firmware version in the "General Settings" --> "About" section of DJI GO.

Updates are not automatic. DJI GO will display a prompt if an update is available (as long as your mobile device is connected to the Internet). You can find a list of firmware releases in the release notes on the Spark downloads page.

Forget about the release notes. They have shown v 01.00.0500 for months.
The release notes since Dec 29 2017 should show 01.00.0900.

You must be looking at an old document. The current release notes show 01.00.0900.
