Flight to the Black Pond

Flight 70! Well its been a good season since end of May! I ventured out on Sunday afternoon because it stopped snowing, the wind settled down to nearly nothing, and I had a little time after stacking wood!

The only regret is the usual lack of sun!

Here is a flight I have been meaning to do for ages, thought I better get on with it before its too snowy and cold to risk it.

I have one more from the same afternoon... its coming along later. Note that the trees are nearly bare, a few hangers on.... I had a disconnect on this flight, should have added my parabolic antennas.

Yes sir! The Ottawa river valley continues well up past us, and they live mostly on the Quebec side...

The variety of colour in the forest is more interesting to view at this time of the year. Much better than green on green.
