While its not 100%, I keep a text file on the SD card with my contact info and a statement about a reward. Wonder if the person who found it checked the SD card...

That's a great idea. A text file in the card would be helpful in getting your drone back.

Kudos to the finder!! We need more people like him in this world!!!
Looks like the owner was located.
Here is what I do with all of my drones. FAA# and Phone number in the battery compartment.
That way whoever finds it doesn't need to figure out that contact info is on sdc.

I put a sticker with my FAA # and phone number on the top of my drone. In the battery area I put a mail envelope return label with my name and address. I also did the SD card idea that I learned here.

I put my name, number and FAA number on a single label inside the battery compartment. I also put one on each battery in case it falls out during a crash.

I like the SD card idea - I may do that next.
