Just got my new blue Spark. It is pretty fun to fly. Wanted a small drone for when the P3P is too much. I live in a NFZ so I have to get authorization each time I fly using Airmap. It's not working for the Spark but I hope to get that figured out. I fly it inside using foil but my home is small with low ceilings. As soon as I get the FAA issue worked out with the Spark I will be taking it everywhere.

Hello from the Hoosier Heartland Casbro.

I've read your other posts and researched your area.

Since I don't live in a NFZ I haven't had any experience with unlocking them.

The Spark may need permission from DJI along with AIRMAP?

I have seen somewhere in the Go4 app about unlocking Geo zones.

Maybe you have to do that and get FAA approval?

Good luck and welcome to the Forum.

Right, the DJI GEO Zone needs to be unlocked (if possible).

Looking forward to Reno and Tahoe shots from you!
I'm back in WI now, but loved Reno when I lived there for around 2 years.

Welcome to the Forum. What a beautiful City you live in and the surrounding countryside looks ripe for some Spark coverage. Can’t wait.

I now have all my NFZ issues worked out and am very happy with my Spark (and DJI's late night support). I also have a P3P, a Breeze, and a Syma H8C... The Phantom is amazing but I actually fly the Spark more. The Breeze is still in pieces from an accidental Return to Tree and I haven't flow the Syma in ages.
