I had my spark out in thick fog. I tried to bring it home but it kept flashing that it was 0 ft of the ground then would fly higher for the return home. I believe the batt died at 1640 ft up. I have logs and uploaded to uav but wondering where to look.

Hello from the Hoosier Heartland Ajleoso1.

Provide a link to your air data for us to look at. We might be able to help.

You can also follow the instructions here to give us a look once you provide a link back to here.

Sorry about your loss.
At 1600 feet in the fog, you'll probably won't find your Spark. But you never know.

The Spark shouldn't be flown in the fog as it will affect the sensors, the bottom one in particular.

The Spark uses the bottom camera and the infrared red sensor to help with the flight. The Spark may "see" the fog as a solid object and rise above to avoid it or maybe try to land on it, even if it's way up there, taking its sweet time trying to land, draining the battery as it descends, until there's no power left and then gravity takes over.

A third party flight app called Litchi has the option of turning the bottom sensors off to avoid this from happening.

Good luck with the log links and welcome to the Forum.
