There's some amazing places just to the east of the actual park, place is called The Virginia Dale Mining District. If you have a 4x4 I can give you co ords to some great spots

We have an MDX. It doesn’t have aggressive tires, but it can do ok. Or are you talking about needing a rock crawler to get there?

Most places just need high clearance so you should be ok. We've taken stock 4 Runners, etc out there.

Awesome yeah I would love to know some cool places that are not too far out of the way!
