Yes it was painful to look at the final results of the modification. I would have never done anything like that to my RC just to hold an iPad. Looks like it made using the RC hard to do as well.

This was more so a "can it be done", I own two tablet mounts already.

I trimmed the sides of the remote to let the arms go out more and cut the tabs on the holder so I can fit my note 8 in a otterbox case. I have the polar pro mount as well
