Here's a new CrystalSky video posted by DJI today:

Notable highlights from the video:
  • See screen clearly in strong sunlight
  • Operating temperature of -4° to 104° F (-20° to 40° C)
  • Dual Micro SD card slot
  • Output video via HDMI & USB
  • 5.5" & 7.85" screen models
DJI just started taking orders for the 7.85" CrystalSky today. It's available in limited quantities when you order here in the DJI Store.

No mention of the Ultra bright model in the video.

Buy CrystalSky Mavic/Spark Remote Controller Mounting Bracket

"A USB OTG cable is required when connecting to a Spark remote controller."

Gee, I didn't think DJI approved of the use of the OTG cable. Hmmmm... a contradiction?

Not sure why you thought they didn't approve?

I dunno, one one side I'm interested in a nice screen on the other side paying the same I paid for the drone for a screen - or more - seems out of proportion to me, especially with the screen being otherwise less useful than a phone or tablet, which means even more baggage..

I have the 5.5 version. It’s awesome. I am going out tomorrow for a hike with my gear but I will have to use my iPhone for the 360 pano because GO4 for the CS has not been updated yet. Still waiting for the update to be released.

cool, but without gspro or support for litchi , drone deploy or other applications it is essentially useless.

Hmmm I use my CrystalSky without the OTG cable (just a Wi-Fi hotspot). Maybe a typo as the Mavic would need the OTG cable.
I cant use the cable on the remote as it gets in the way of the RC plug. So I am using wifi to the RC. I notice the distance before transmission issues is nowhere near as good as if using my iPhone and OTG.
