ipadmini4 w/ djigo4

I found a deal on an ipadmini4 i could not pass up
Flew the spark with new 4.2.22 and all new FW yesterday

Flight went well but i was unimpressed with OTG the transmission was a tad laggy - bird was about 1000-1200 feet away direct LOS. And the picture quality was not crisp - i was expecting better
Is there a setting i can change (5.8ghz ch 143 - manual)
